only for a short time? I tried this on a old dead battery, will not charge.

when installing the volt meters, do they require a shunt like the amp
meters do?? If so how do you determine what size shunt to use on the volt
meters? Thanks…

The 7 amp regulators under $30.00, from harbor freight will work.

OK, just done a further test, and we were right to be cautious about the
claims. Whatever it is – and we’re going to open it up to take a look at
the batteries soon – it’s definitely not a 20000mAh charger.
I’ve just charged up my phone from 21% charge to 100% charge, and it took
around 3.5 hours to do, and at the end there’s two out of the four lights
still lit on the indicator. Which suggests that, unless the indicator is
faulty, this is something like a 5000mAh pack or 6000 at most. Shabby work!
Sorry folks.

I believe a ton of these ‘cheap/small’ chargers are phonies. Although they
don’t have to be. There are inline meters available to to some of the
testing and as you did, one could pop it open. Thankfully you discovered
the junkiness of this one.

I already knew it wasn’t what it claimed. But I only need it to charge my
DSI XL when camping. So How long does the device take to charge fully in
the sun and how long did it take to charge your tablet in the video….

Would you be able to do a test when the device is fully charged and you
charge a phone or a tablet with a known mAh rating and see how many LEDs
light up on the unit after a full charge to gauge how it performed. It
would also be worth knowing how fast things charge as I have bought cheap
chargers that claim to be 2A when in fact they really aren’t!

Yeah 20 Amps for an hour at…. 5v? That’s a lot of power. I’m not sure
what a decent sized Lithium battery is capable of nowadays but I do know
that that sized PV would take AGES to charge it. It’d be like 3 weeks worth
full days of direct sunlight.

I think it would have helped your presentation if you informed us if it was
successful in charging the tablet, and how long it took to do so. Without
that information it’s not really very enlightening!

Low cost solar power bank offers 20,000mAh, enough to charge your phone up
10 times…we’re impressed…
