Theyre crap, max input is around 300w and if your using 24v panels your
limited to about 500 odd watts. I replaced the 20ah blade fuse several
times before something else went bang….

  2. Duncan Cochran says:

Hi, i got this controller on the basis of this and other reviews. It turns
out that the charging voltages are temperature compensated. Does this
reduce the usefulness of this device? I itended to use it to charge a deep
cycle in my truck from mobile solar panels.

  3. intercepted sparow says:

By saying “multiple sellers”, do you mean both 12v and 24v panels???
What i want to do actually, i have a 24v solar panel which i will connect
it, into 2 batteries (55AH each) on series connection. But i dont know the
    proper controller
    i need for the system.
ps: sorry for your loss, My sincere sympathy,

Sorry to hear about your loss

the use of a power supply to demonstrate the input of power is not
    accurate.

  6. Eelke Halbertsma says:

Could you please confirm that solar panels with a open voltage output of
43V cannot be used with this model? Specs in ebay tell me that 42V is the
maximum, but I don’t know how ‘strict’ that is. Thanks

    Greetings, Anti-Gravity!

I noticed you haven’t been very active of late but hopefully I can get in
touch with you as I was hoping to seek permission of using this video? I
also noticed the bit in regards to your father and am deeply sorry, I hope
    time has offered some solace.

I burned mine. Hooked it to a bike generator and I think I burned the
varistor ? I have ordered som spare part. Anyone got the same problem. And
might it be fixed with a new varistor? Look like a neat mppt controller :)

our guys take almost 2 years to finish this products , we look over almost
all the chinese Solar MPPT charger manufacturer . we buy all the samples
from market and testing for know their own feature . after this we make out
this one . we sell out almost 5000pcs every year . we consider many ways
to manage the energy converting . and try to many ways to reduce the energy
consumption by the controller itself . I can say , this is the most
effecitive one you can find in china

How much did you buy this charge controller for? Correct me if i am wrong,
you took 22v and set the controller to charge a 12v battery. Does this mean
that i can set this controller to 12v and input any current from 12v~24v
and it will bring my battery to 13.7v?

  18. test says:

I also would be interested in the test of this MPPT controller. MPPT
controllers seem to vary between sketchy Rip-ofs and expensive models. This
one looks to be mid-range and would love to purchase one from ebay if it
can be proven to be true MPPT

Thanks for the review. Just won it for 96!

What model and from what vender did you get your LCD light. What is a good
price for something comparable to that unit?

  22. icurnet says:

I picked mine up for $102.50 incl shipping, arrived in a very reasonable
6-7 days from being notified it shipped. My channel has the initial late
day test with an Instapark 150w panel on a 12v battery bank, future updates
    will follow.

  23. jony joe says:

I have this same panel and use it with a 120 watt panel (no improvement
over the pwm charger I had both got 6 amps max) But with a 240 watt panel I
do get 13 amps with this charger. But after 6 months of using it, it just
doesnt top off my batteries. I tried it with a 70 amp agm and also 145 agm
battery. Even after all day of charging at the end of the day the battery
always reads 12.4 which is about 80 percent. The problem I see is it doesnt
stay on absorb setting very long maybe 2 minutes.

  24. 77noland says:

Anyone have an electronic version of the owners manual?

  25. flash001USA says:

Hi, first of all my condolences to you and yours over the tragic loss of
your father. I ordered this unit today after seeing your video and I paid
$125.00 (Shipping included) because I liked what I seen even with the tiny
demo you placed up on this video. It does appear to be built well but I do
want to see how it handles with a few hundred watts of solar panels tied
into it. I will be running a total of 270 watts worth of solar power into
it with a 24 volt setup. Continued on next message.
