  2. Petri T says:

  3. Glenn Hough says:

wow, awesome solar RV, this is something people who love travelling and who
owns RV… well I could use this at home too..

  4. Julie Cook says:

Ok, I’m going to print out your answer so I can try and digest this! lol
    Thank you so much!

Now I want to purchase the unisolar panels, And there 24v panels, You have
this setup on 12v battery bank correct?

    Nice Install………………

Tito, Thank you for your video. Your system has been upgraded quite a bit
from your part-1 video. Great job! I have a 24′ Navion RV and We do quite
a bit of boondocking at sporting events for our kids and want to install a
solar system in our rig. We don’t consume much power during the day but we
rely on the heater or aircon during the night. Can you run your aircon or
heater thru the night and restore your battery during the day with the
panels? Thao Tran from SF, CA.

Nice clean install. Everything routed nicely and labelled. Cut off switches
for safety and all mounted safely. You can be the RV Solar Guru on YouTube
!! One suggestion is to cover your battery connections in anticorrosion
goop. In an enclosed space the batteries offgas and those things tend to
grow green fuzz. If you wanted to be superfancy you could install a single
point watering system for the batteries to water them. Look at Flowrite
profill systems. Like the vids and sub’d.

    Thanks for the nice presentation!

I put the 144 watt Unisolar panel on my 26 foot travel trailer last spring.
I need a little more capacity but I don’t have a straight run for another
144 watt panel so the two additional 68 watt panels in series is a great
idea. The only drawback is these panels are permanent once installed but I
am happy with my installation. After installation I noticed the MPPT charge
controller puts out a fair amount of RFI but I’ve isolated most of the
interference with shielding and chokes on the output.

    Very helpful!

Super excited to find this series of videos. I’m installing on a 1949
Spartan Trailer just got 2 128V panels in like yours. One question what do
you use to wire the panels together? (Like the white wires shown on the
    roof?)

  12. Ford's RV Training & Service says:

    Nice job

  13. ekstarr says:

love it! nicely done. i can only seem to find 18′ versions though and need
something a little shorter :/ Where did you find your shorter ones?

  14. jlwftl says:

This is very clean and to the point. No stupid stuff I want to get some of
this but I am trying to understand everything. I do like the solar panels
you have there on the roof. Thanks for the to the point kinda way of saying
    what you mean.

  15. VA6LM says:

    128w panel 12v? …2 68 w panels hooked in series are they 6 v panels? Why
did u not go for panels that can be tilted toward the sun? Are these panels
less expensive than glass covered tiltable ones? Nice vids by the way.

  16. ELMATRACA69 says:

Why RV don’t come this days with standards Panel Solar and Wind Turbine in
    addition to the Gas Generator?
Why the Water Heather have to be GAS HEATER?
Why not Tank less Water Heather? (Electrical or Gas)
Why we have to have the regular Electric – Gas refrigerator instead of any
    regular electric house refrigerator?
Why we have to be force to replace /change the end cap system for the
Bathroom ventilation not able to install in the top of the existing System
an adaptor to fit the existing System / pipe?
The future is in the Solar /Wind System independency…
FREE YOURSELF FROM THE INDUSTRY AND DEMAND CHANGES,
SAVE THE PLANET AND THINK GREEN = SOLAR PANEL / WIND TURBINE FOR THE RV
    TODAY.
Hey, everybody have been selling that Idea for years (Save the planet) it
is time to put those Ideas in practice.:-)

  17. Hans Greuber says:

Nice clean install. However, it is important to mention that you should
NEVER disconnected your charge controller from the battery bank while the
panels are still throwing current to said charge controller or you will
damage the unit. Thanks for sharing.

  18. Alan Hagh says:

@rvwithtito but would completely understand if youre just too busy cuz you
have other things going on, or even if you could refer me to someone that
would be cool too, otherwise I look fwd to talking to you!

  19. Alan Hagh says:

Hey Tito great videos! Thanks so much for helping and sharing your
knowledge! Super appreciate it. Would there be any way for you to contact
me, Im a little clueless and perhaps you might be able to help me really
quickly? If so much appreciation, and just send me a email at
    alanhagh@gmail

  20. Reddsmorris1 says:

Well whats on most peoples mind is how much have you invested so far?

  21. jlwftl says:

Some people tell there way with all kinds of stuff I do not care if the
kids are playing with the dog I want to see and understand all this solar
stuff. This helped me understand more and more Can you use a portable solar
with this system? mix and match ? The kind you just set in the lawn and
    hook to the system?

  22. Bradley Payne says:

My fiance and I are interested in doing full time RV instead of an
apartment while we save up to build a house. We’re both very interested in
solar power but I’m not sure how to tell how much power we’ll require on an
everyday basis because we both are heavy computer users she’s a blogger and
I do video editing so we each run (primarily me I guess) a pretty hefty
desktop. Any tips or places to get started in general would be soooo
    appreciated.

  23. Tom Brand says:

nice video of a “clear setup”. Very nice.
You use two 6Volt Batts instead of 12Volt Batts. Special reasons therefor?
    Thanks and regards

  24. Cleevus says:

Very clean set up. Awesome job.

  25. Jasen Master says:

Is it crazy that I hit the like button even before the intro was done?
    Great videos my friend! 🙂
