Homemade power/energy?

Question by mike: Homemade power/energy?
Okay i want to know how to create energy. My idea is to make a small go cart that runs on anything that does not have emissions. (electric, hydrogen, whatever) I have seen a lot of of stuff online claiming that their cars run on water (don’t beleive it) but i know that there are alternatives to gasonline and disel. i want to know all the details, please don’t skip anything. Thanks

You cannot ‘create’ energy.
You can generate it or collect it and store it.
For the details either search the internet or take a course.

The easiest solution would be a battery powered go cart. You could build it in stages

Build frame and chasis, brakes, steering, then add motor and batteries, and now drive around and test

    Now add Solar pannel roof

Now add wind generator you can deploy when parked

Remember with projects like this breaking it up into stages and doing just one part at a time is the way to get it done. The first part should always be a good plan. Try using a program like sketchup to help you plan. Remember to use the layers feature so that you only need to look at the part you are working on now.

You are wise to not belive in the water car, thier are cars that use batteries to break water into hydrogen and oxygen then burn the hydrogen/oxygen gas, but it is silly because if they just used the electricity in the battery to drive a motor to power a car they would go much farther, with a much simpler (and easier to fix, with much less to go wrong) system.

I suggest that you find out what “conservation of energy” means first.
