Mark, you are exactly like my grandfather was, a freakin genius! Man, he’s
shown me things like you’ve got posted here for years and I wanted to thank
you from the bottom of my heart for bringing those memories back
    brother…. I’m 31 years old and have a 4 year old and I hope that I can
show/teach him these things before America collapses under the pressure of
idiots we have in charge today…. Thank you again

after I managed to build my own solar … I can’t consider that I am
thinking to sell energy.. WOW… This man has made a company out of it and
now help others *aboutsolarcells.comxa.* *com* will learn how and what to
do and you also get help should you need it… good luck to everyone. And
this isn’t to overlooked sing up on Nikola Tesla
*freeenergygeneration.pixub.* *com* approaches that are good can be found
    by you here.

my batteries drain to fast well in minutes any help and that is on 1 led of
    5 watts

I cant understand a word your saying. Even in a quiet room with head phones
    turned all the way up.

Yes I am happy with the system. I run several appliances and some lights. I
will have a new video on camping in a couple of weeks. Going on my anually
    mancation.

    absolutly love it

    That is a good Idea.

    @ajarnjoshua Thanks. I like the 3″ x 6″ cells grade A 1.8watts

    love it

Yes the pure sine wave is better. Years back I got a good deal on this
inverter and that is why I bought it. You need a big inverter to start a
refrigerator “around 3000 watts”. I run 3 referigertors off mine. The
modified sine wave inverter is more efficient and only uses around .3 amps
    when nothing is on.

I don’t think you can recharge a vegetable battery, the vegetable will rot.

I think the issue is a poor lav mic. I notice audio changing drastically
depending on where your voice is being projected. The video is freakin
awesome though, great camera! What size cells should I be looking for on
ebay? What dimension’s and with what outputs?

  13. markp0177 says:

Yes you need a diode at every panel even with a battery bank.

    gret

@tomlauwers Hello. That is how I have my system. You have to have a charge
controller. The power from the panels goes to the controller and then to
the batteries. If the batteries are full the controller will disconect the
panels. You wire the inverter straight to the batteries. You can then plug
in your appliances to the inverter. Mark

Is it best to use deep cycle or conventional batterys for a solar system?

  17. markp0177 says:

Deep cycle battery has less plates but the plates are thicker and will give
you more amp hours. A car battery has more plates that are thin. It will
give you a lot of amperage for a short time. Gell batteries work best but
    they cost more.

@markp0177 thanks for the video, but at least do the audio portion over
again and re-upload so that people can understand. I really wanted to watch
and learn but I just couldnt get past the audio. thanks for your
    understanding!

  19. Susie Curtis says:

question about the diodes……..are these only for home made panels? I
haven’t heard anything about having to install them on commercial panels.
You don’t have a 600v dc disconnect between the panels and the charge
    controller?

    AWESOME!!! THANK U GOOD SIR!!!

  21. xanataph says:

True, the open air could help. I have found that the corrosion usually
forms around the -ve terminals, but on just some occasions you get it on
the +ve too. I suspect that is when certain materials are used for the
connection. Some people put a special kind ov spray over the compleated
connections to inhibit the corrosion. Which is something I might look at,
as I can’t have mine outside – people would nick ’em around here..! heh

  22. Luis Calubhay says:

hi mark good job….i’m planning to install solar panel in my house in the
the philippines… this is a great project….but you have a poor
    audio….thank you…

  23. bhare4440 says:

Audio is so low, can not understand,,, a darn shame

  24. markp0177 says:

@jrocc1980 Yes I will be doing a grid tie set up in the next few months.
