Hey you can add a fan to your battery charger to help keep it cool while
using it. You can pick up small high flo fans for cheap and they don’t use
a lot of power to run.

This is fantastic!
Is it pretty simple adding solar to the chain?

Are you not worried about lightning? That looks like a solid copper line
straight into your house for a bolt to chase down.

Aloha I’m a college student doing an environmental science project
designing an off grid property. What brand? of turbine are you using and
what are the statistics on them? What are their low speed output and the
high end output and the cut in speed and things?

Thank you for taking the time to do this video and share it with the
world. I think your system works really great and is really
inspirational. I wish I was in a better area for wind power as I really
like it. Yep, some more storage (Batteries) and the addition of a
controller would be great too so you don’t have to worry as much about
overcharging and have more power capacity available. Just a thought – the
dump load could be a 12V heating element for your hot water service.
Regards John.

Didn’t read all the comments, but it would be better to move your positive
lead to the other end of the bank. right now that first set of batteries
are doing most of the work supplying power. Have you gotten a Charge
controller for wind turbines yet? That system is designed to dumb the
power in to a resistor bank to protect the batteries and keep your turbine
from running away.

30 amps at 12.8= 384 watts… Nice! should your pos connection be at the
other end of your battery bank? I’m new to this and still learning.. I like
your set up.. did you put together your pma? or did you buy it? and from
whom? thank you for taking the time to show your system..
