Question by weburchin: Looking for small wind turbine/power generator?
Where can I find information on wind turbines and power generation for small applications? I see wind to power converters (handheld) that can charge small electronics (cell, mp3, camera). I need something that can mount in a small 3′ x 3′ wind tunnel that produces as much battery charge as possible.
Let’s ignore the fact that energy will need to be produced to operate the wind tunnel. I am only interested in the unit itself.

West Marine sells small wind turbines for boaters along with charging systems and batteries. They’re not cheap, but they’re robust. Link below…
