How about British engineers sorting British energy needs out before flying
out to the east and creating a green city for the people who got rich
flogging oil to us!
Nearly as good as Boris Johnsons environmental talk, with a Shell logo
behind him.

Wow … sehr beeindruckend. Man sollte meinen dass sowas niemals in einem
Land mit viel Öl entstehen könnte, aber Abu Dhabi denkt voraus wenn es
irgendwann kein Öl mehr gibt:

Did they not think of investing all that money to offset CO2 in existing
cities in the region? Can we really afford more new infrastructure, why
don’t we invest in existing?

The reason they are planning for the future is because they fear cheap
prices per barrel crippling their economy. With the entire world looking
elsewhere for power, they are spending like mad now while the $s are
flowing.
