Have you considered a Diesel Wick heater for your RV?? It vents outside, is
    clean.
If you want to make one, I will be making a video ASAP showing how to make
a high efficiency heater that runs on diesel and only uses a 1/2 gallon on
high per day. $3 red diesel and you have a off grid heater of 4500 to 7000
BTU that will surprise you and uses half the money a propane will use.
My Used oil heater will also get more videos on it to help people build
    their own.

I see you have the Thermodyne Wind Turbine. I buy them, then modify them
and get amazing power. I made a few videos on mine. I also have bought from
other sellers and most are scam artist more than real users of RE. Been off
grid for 4 years+. My system is all my design, runs home and shop.

just and idea for ya, if you take a 3 or 4 inch pvc pipe and run it from 2
inches from the cealing down to the power bank and install a small computer
fan at the bottem on the pipe it will take hot hair from the celing and
bring it down to warm up your batteries, it does a great job to bring heat
to your floor as well as you must know, heat rise and most heat lost is
from the celing and when the hot air goes out, it sucks in cold air from
the bottom walls or cracks that could be down close to the floor. It’s
cheap and it works well, i’ve done it in my green house and i was suprise
at how well it works. i put a 90 degre elbow at the bottom to derict the
heat where i want it to go and just straped it to the wall.

Enjoy your Mickey boots Troy! The ports are for air. The U.S. military uses
them in extreme cold conditions. We used to have a bunch in supply when I
    served in our State Guard.

  17. Dennis Hill says:

Hey Troy, on a positive note; you may want to acquire a hydrometer for
batteries and test each cell, in each battery to assure you are getting a
full “balanced” charge across the bank.
It is not uncommon for a cell or two get weak (develop high internal
resistance) when charged in series and parallel banks. If caught early the
    cells can be de-sulphated.

what about using your solar porch for a green house?

Awesome boots!! Betcha your feet’ll stay warm in those! Glad to see things
up and running again.. that you are warmer also! I worried about you and
Babycat those first few days you were home! Well you have the whole summer
now to winterize it even more! Have a great day Troy! Blessings!

With all that power you say you have, I would of put the fan on high and
get the air moving. you need to get the inside. The bottom of your RV is
acting like a heat sink which is why you have that 30 degree difference
from the ceiling to the floor. I would get the ash from the firebox, and
sprinkle it on the snow, this should speed up the melting; just don’t walk
    in.

Just finished your last video, may as well watch this one whilst I am here
    ;-)

Troy, Those are some old-school artic boots. I had a set when I was in
Germany. There is an insulating air layer and non-permeable outer. The
valve is for us aviation guys so we don’t pop them when the air pressure
    changes in flight. Enjoy!

  23. Darrell Roath says:

when they sent me to South Korea with the marines, I wore these boots.

Military type Bunny Boots will keep your feet warn in sub zero temps
Great for ice fishing. Military personnel (Air Force) use them for the
    cops who guard aircraft
