The battery bank is out side, and you have gaps on the bottom of your box.
Don’t worry about gas!!!. If the batteries are SLA or AGM there won’t be
any gas. You should have your inverter inside your house. Inside that box
on a hot sunny day, the inverter could overheat if it is being used. The
inverter fan will constantly run. You are just waisting power running the
small fan.
