Yes, with today’s solar, wind and magnetic or any combination of hybrid models, rural areas’ households can get off the grid today should the government have done it unilaterally from way back when photovoltaic cells were proven effective components of solar power generation.

No, there are only portions of our Nation that has the solar capacity (sunlight) and the wind capacity (wind) year round. What happens in those areas that have neither year round sunlight or wind may I ask. Solar and Wind alone will NEVER serve this Country’s total energy usage. We NEED ALL venues of energy production.
