I got an 8v solar panel for a project today, the only problem is that it came without any wires attached to it. Now i don’t know what type of wires i should use and if i should solder them on or if i should use epoxy instead. Can anybody help me out?

16 gauge wire would be a good size. Just solder it on and run it wherever you want.

You might want to be careful about soldering.
Some panels can be easily damaged by excess heat.
Check the manufactures website for recommended attachment methods.

Solder tape or conductive epoxy might be better. If you do not have such things already, a good idea might be to take it into a TV repair shop or electronic hobbyist store. Some folks are kind enough to do it for you for free.

if from example it is small solar panel for kit to make projects with, it could use basic electrical wire used for power adapter cords, micro electrical components,

check for watt and other output values, volt and wattage change amperage for gauge thickness of wire and strands or solid needed,

Check Radio Shack or electronics / electrical shops for selection of gauge wire ,
    could be 18/ 20

speaker phone wire or phone wire may work, copper, but if too thin, could overheat and impede transfer of power,

you do want to Solder all connections, or use twist/ thread Marr Connectors,

Most epoxy is not very conductive. I would go with solder.
