This looks to be a simple install. Can to speak more about the grid side of
    the install.

The ‘complete’ systems I’ve been looking at seem to have a micro inverter
that you install on each panel. Not sure where it goes from there. I’m
looking to do a 3.0 kw or 12 panel ground based system. I have a large slab
where a patio blew away in a hurricane.

Thank you, the information you have given has really peaked my interest in
wind and solar energy. Contest # 9. Thank you.

How much do I need to spend to power my house ac fridge and washer a drier
and a couple of lights and a small furnace

I like how much you co operate with other solar and wind turbine people.
That speaks very highly of you. What type of wind load can those brackets
    hold?

    I install solar in California.
    I can give you suggestions.
    We use the same products.
    BUTT ‘ I would give you a B-

Does the utility cut you a check for pumping juice back into the grid?

Hi Jeff what is the cost of the wind turbine and the inverter for solar and
wind and are you completely off the grid or do you use both grid and off
    grid? Sincerely Gareth, Thailand

Videos looking better the more i see your playlist…. awesomeness… :)

    nice, thanks!
could you tell me the details of your wireless mic and video camera?

For best results use a 120 volt DC to 120 volt AC inverter with
    your battery back up..

thank you it wood may a nice trip

My solar panel / system research has impressed on me the importance of
keeping the panels away from shadows. I read that a shadow playing across
part of a panel will, depending on how the system is wired, either make
that entire panel stop producing electricity or, worst case, take the
entire string of panels, to which that ‘shadowed’ panel is attached,
offline until the shadow passes. Do you have a video or something published
on your website that will help DIY folks overcome this problem? Sometimes
it’s hard to keep all parts of a good-sized array / string completely out
    of one or more shadows.

I want one and where can I get one!

    do you install on rv

I’ve got a great question for you wind turbine makers. Why is it that you
always make the outer parts of the blades so narrow? They are wide at the
base where they connect to the hub and get narrow as they move away from
the hub… It would make more since to have the blades wider at the ends
and narrower at the hub. The reason I say this is due to the simple fact of
leverage. It would require less work from the wind if the blades were wide
on the ends. It’s like using a ratchet, it is much harder to loosen a bolt
if you are holding the ratchet where the socket attaches and is much easier
to loosen a bolt if you are holding the ratchet at the end of the handle.

So why do you have the blades narrower at the tips and not wider? You could
redesign the blades to have more structural integrity at the hub end of the
blades and would solve the problem of weakness at the hub end of the blades
if you make the tips of the blades wide not narrow.

Also forgot to ask what is the max input into the wind max GT/inverter.

Great Job. I live on the East Coast shoreline salt air is a major problem
    here. Turbine looks great.

    I have a 300 watt grid tie inverter…..with 3 12v panels and my inverter
only goes to 24v can I mix 1 12v panel and 2 12 panels running in series
making 24v on the same gride tie inverter or am I going to blow something
up as long as I keep under the 300 watts
