Solar Power 101
Please sign the Declaration of Endependence at www.endependence.info/declaration . Short and concise explanation of solar photovoltaic systems. How do they work? Do I need batteries? Produced by the on-line local action network, Endependence.info. Show us how you are saving energy. We’ll copy your great ideas. Energy independence, we can’t do it alone, but we can do it together with a homemade DIY solar power 101 system.

uning solar power = wery wery baaad idea in 200 youer more deadli then explosion of 10 nuclear powerplant BTW solar energi made is much less then energi required to make solar panels …… old solar panels is toxic and unrecyclabe waste that is not good for anything and will be here for milions of years /// Nuclear waste of 6 th gereation have live span max 100 years SOLAR POWER BAAAD IDEA!!!!

2% of Earth’s land would power 10 billion at a western standard, assuming better insulation, led lights and electric cars. However, there is still infrared (heat) emitted when sunlight hits the dark surface of conventional panels.
If MACHINE made batteries and GaAs concentrating systems were used instead, to power the world, there would be MUCH less heat and only 1% land needed…
Search “oil storm solar” for quick dramatization

Ummm…That didn’t explain anything about how sunlight is converted into energy, that was about how its used. Might wanna name your videos properly next time. Other then that very informative

It’s really hard confusing and time consuming to find the best solar power deal in your town or city. we at solar quotation help thousands of australian to find the best solar power system within their budget in a timely manner.
To get the multiple solar power quotes from your local solar installers all you have to do is fill up a simple form and multiple solar installers will contact you for the quotes and free home assessment.

I want to see a system that is actually off the grid. I will believe they actually exist when I see one for myself. Call me a man of little faith but I smell ever so much bull shit when solar or wind power is mentioned.
I am eager to learn but can find little true information on this.

@hombrelubinero if your country is on Alternating Current then yes. you just need to make sure it fits your appliances’ electrical standards.

Solar power is the future, a single good investment on a top of the line grid tied solar system will last produce electricity for 30+ years. The PV solar system will pay itself in around 7 to 10 years depending on the size of the system, there are numerous incentives given by the federal and state governments and great financing plans too!

take those panels and put them in the basement.first you take a parabolic solar concentrator and put an robotic arm on it to follow the suns path.then make the focal point a mirrored shape cone that will send the light down through mirrored glass tubing straight into a mirrored shape glass box inside the mirrored shape box will be several solar panels that spin to keep them cool the mirrored box must have the mirrors inward to reflect the light sending from the parabolic focal point.ken van horn

since you like solar power try using exhaust from your furnace to melt the snow and ice take the exhaust and tee it into your gutter drain pipe and on top of the gutters put holes in a round shape cap… that way the heated air will melt those ice dams on your roof

which you guys damonstrate this is very effective to patronize consumer and the market . if consumer can sell his product obviously should be happy after his investment.

if you can sell your day time production it’s more than worthy.dbut you have to produce in a scale .

But Until Now Most of the Inverter Around the World Still Can’t Pass The RCD Most Inverter Are Problem With RCD Safety .I Have an Experiment For About 12 Years Already until Today About 16 Inverter Experiment Most Of Them Are Not Pass Home RCD ???? It Was Unsafe.

The title is “how does sunlight turn into electricity”
but it really should be called “how sunlight can power your home” because the most depth you went into explaining how pv cells convert sunlight into energy is “pv cells when grouped together create a current”
-_-
