Holy shnikees – what a kick-ass 2sqm #mirror! 3500°C heat in the focal
point instantly set light to wood, melt steel and even rock. Waaaaaant!

It is a very expensive mirror. Get over it. Not cost productive. Just like
large Buses in cities, windmills or air turbines, or solar power. If you
don’t believe me, ask a Hollywood star that was in Mash who built the
largest solar panel array in private use. He said it cost more that it
saved.

This looks like something that might be able to deflect Asteroids from
hitting Earth.

If you’ve ever wondered how much energy sun is sending down to earth, this
helps to get an idea.

so why are we still digging oil out of the ground and polluting the
atmosphere if there is such an abundance of free heat from the sun?
