Building solar panels is not really a do it yourself kind of job. They are made in high tech factorys with specialized equipment and experianced engineers. It would probably be cheaper and easier to just buy some panels rather than try to make your own.

There are easy ways to build a solar panel. But first you must consider where to position them to get the most exposure to the sun. Common sense would be on you’re house’s main roof or the roof of your patio cover. (http://www.ptlandscapeinc.com/services_06_patiocovers.html) Unless of course you have a section of property close to your house that’s going to be solely for your solar panels. You can follow the step-by-step instructions here http://www.homesolarandwindinfo.com/diy-solar-panel/

I am at a loss as to why more people do not build their own solar power systems. Given all the information available, it is not beyond the above average DIY’selfer.

Building “Home” solar panels is realy not that hard and does not require a great deal of technical knowledge. The best way to do it yourself is to purchase a kit which guides you through every step. The best kit I have found and personally used myself is at http://www.solarpanels-howtomake.com
