@imakez4u I saw the house in D.C. and the vinyl is actually pretty thick. Experimentation with other skin materials could yield interesting results. I hear what you’re saying about trees, etc., but there are some great ideas here. In fact, the entire competition was filled with a lot of ingenuity and imagination. It will be exciting to see when and in what form ideas from here become mainstream.

But seriously … the exterior covering is soft right..? the first tree branch that touches it would rip through .. right..? I do like the way the exterior looks… The restraining cabling grid pattern looks good. I suppose you could spray the exterior with a hardining resin to make it rigid…

That was so cool. I think in the future, if this project goes good, you should think about making the house a bit bigger. You know, for a second bedroom..for the kids. Anyhow, that looked really awesome! Good Job
