Great video another job well done! Please tell us if you rooted the wiring
for your solar yourself or did you have it professionally done? If you did
it yourself a video on that routing would be interesting.

Great setkup. Just started following so I hope questions aren’t too silly.
When you turned on cooker the panel current jumped up and I realize d that
the panel is putting up watts all the time but if batteries are charged
where is that extra sun current going???make sense???

Since your RV is a home were you able to take advantage of Solar Rebates /
    Tax credits?

Hi I’m a musician and am looking to travel a lot in mybown personal RV I
want to hook up equipment for music recording and video in my rv/ be able
to use it on the road with out having to worry about it taking away from
ths actual power supply so I don’t kill the battery. Also wondering if its
possible to connect internet to a RV?

How many solar panels is enough for the microwave?

  8. Gone with the Wynns says:

+Shauneice Davis You can find loads of info on our webste about solar:
    http://www.gonewiththewynns.com/solar
The solar will help save you generator fuel, and the theory is your
batteries will be charged and you can use electricity at night off the
battery power without running your generator. You will need a good set of
batteries and the highest amp hours you can afford.

    portable water proof?

I just want the carrying case because it sounds like a cat call when u
    unzip it!;)

What would be the cost of making a transition to a system be like?

  12. Methos Films says:

ok u got all those panels hooked up to the 30 amp charge controller right?
i seen each panel is 9 amps each isnt that a bit close to the total amp for
the charge controller? i ask this because i wanna get the same as u for my
rv. should i go for a 50 amp charge controller to be safe? do u guys get
any problem with yours at peak sun levels for amps?
just wanna say i love your videos

Some here are asking if a RV even a big RV could be completely
electric all solar powered including electric motor instead of engine
.. Well I say yes even now if it is used where there is a lot of sun
would require a huge amount of batteries and people using it would be
happy only travelling in small increments at a time small distances at
a time and spent lots of time in fixed spots enjoying the areas you are
in if you have plenty of time you could cover pretty well all over the
country such an RV when parked would have to have solar panel capacity
in excess of what just living in it used the excess going into the
batteries in other words the whole roof would have to be covered in solar
plus maybe even a shade structure could also be a solar roof

  14. Joseph Vagnato says:

where did you get the circuit breaker?

  15. The Healing Spirit says:

You guys are a cute couple.

  16. Bill Cole says:

OK Nikki, the sun came up, you’ve had your hot cup of coffee, now it’s time
to put on the backpack, fire up the GPS & make a loop hike in the
Superstition Mountains here in Arizona. Question….can you operate a GPS,
stay on track & return to your motor home after dark without getting lost?

  17. APMontgomery says:

I just have one deep cycle 12 volt battery on my older airstream. I only
want to keep my refrigerator going as it quits working if my battery gets
too low, even tho it is gas. All lighting is led. So, I was thinking about
adding another battery but only have room in an inside cabinet. It this
dangerous even if it is a closed cell marine battery?

  18. Jason Mays says:

    What a nice couple.

  19. accountname0 says:

    Why PWM and not MPPT?

  20. Alex Tube says:

Two questions,ok? What about AC unit (or real cooling device)? I read
below your comments, but I cannot believe that there is no solution when it
comes to cooling system. (ps, I don’t know so much about solar things and
cooling units in RVs, so please tell me what is the solution to stay “cool”
in hot days inside). Next question would be – panels on the roof, did you
screw them up to the roof or are you setting them up ones you park the
vehicle? Since driving takes a lot of time – I am thinking how would be
possible to take advantage of that time and charge the batts.

  21. Shekhar Moona says:

I would love to do this to an airstream.

  22. Conrad Green says:

    Nice setup!

  23. BellinghamsterTrail says:

The Solar Panels are great. All you need now is LED lights throughout. I
have bought a few and they are awesome. Perhaps your new coach has them.

  24. Bobbie Machado says:

    oh looks good!

  25. Lyubov Hutan says:

great video. can you specify the manufacturer for solar panel and also the
battery bank you have, what type of batteries agm, lithium? more details
    please,
