In this video I take a look at the 50 watt and 80 watt solar panels from CDR-KING. I’ve been checking my local stores, calling and emailing for about 6 months and then finally one of my local…

Using solar panels for christmas lights might be a cool and practical idea.
It’s very resourceful

You can buy those now for under $1/W and $15 shipping (at least to NY where
I live). I’m not part of the company ABOUTSOLARCELLS.COMXA.COM but I would
feel bad to see people pay $300 for one of them if they can get it for
half. Dude, I like your videos but lets try to make solar more affordable!
Go Solar! and please like this to get it up higher in the comment list…

I visited mega mall branch of cdrking and they now have deep cycle solar
batteries available. They have 50ah for about 3k and 100ah for around 5.5k.
I paid around 3100 for my 40ah from motolite and 6200 for my 100ah motolite
solarmaster. So CDRKING are a bit cheaper but they only offer a 3 month
warranty and they’re not battery specialists. So personally I’d stick with
motolite.

hello! kaya ba 2 laptops and maybe 1 desktop in some hours using these
Solar Panels from CDRKing? and you recommended Motolite battery. We have
power outage here in Mindanao during summer time at nagsisimula na ang
rotating brownouts here. It greatly affects my online work. I consider
buying Solar panel than buying a generator. Please advice, I would greatly
appreciate your response. Thanks in advance!

When I watch these kinds of videos in YT, I would have to bother
considering the differences in the products presented and the ones I’m
getting. But here, I get good insight and the product that I’m considering
is readily available.
Question 1: I’m planning on doing a small-scale solar charging station. For
now, I’m planning on 4 12v ah batteries in parallel (12v 36Ah) setup with a
80w panel. Your math will give me (80/12) = 6.66 … 36Ah/6.66 is around
5hrs. Since you can only use 50%, my power capacity is at 216w at 2.5hrs
time. Am I doing the math correct?
Question 2: Does that battery controller stops giving charge to the battery
once it reaches 100%? Do I have to manually switch it out? Or can I just
leave it connected?

I was told from a CDR King Branch in Robinson’s Pioneer that these panels
aren’t weatherproof. Then I went to their branch in Megamall and they said
“they are weatherproof rain or shine”, so who’s telling the truth?

You sir are a prince among men. I’m addicted to that damn shop and have a
house full of their garbage and I can’t stop because there’s a branch a
stones throw away from my office. Thank you for this review. I’ve been
looking at these things wondering how to set them up and you’ve given some
excellent information.

Is it possible to bundle 2 panels together to one charger controller? I’m
thinking of faster charging times to portable/car batteries.

Could the panels power 120mm computer fans? about 6 of them? so I can
generate my own wind, in turn that wind powers a rotating wind generator?

video. Can you now give comments on the lifetime of the cdr king panels?
Just curious on this specific item.
